The rustic inspired Plaistow Recycled Baltic Timber Dining Table features a beautiful 70mm thick, recycled Baltic timber top and solid industrial metal steel base in a clean modern design. The rugged Baltic timber table top is naturally distressed showing it's previous use as construction timber. The timber is sourced from the old Plaistow Hospital in East London, built in 1901. The hospital was damaged from bombings in the second world war but restored shortly after. The hospital officially closed in 2006 and the timber was salvaged from the demolition of the old building, giving these tables a unique character with loads of charm and story to tell!
The base shown here is a natural finish industrial steel but is also available as a timber option.
The Plaistow line of tables are industrial inspired tables with a robust design. The thick, solid recycled baltic pine timber tops are available in a variety of finishes. The table offers a modern edge to any home. The modern, solid steel base adds a industrial accent to each piece.
Tables available are: dining tables, hall tables and coffee tables.
All are WA Made and can be customised in size and finishes to your personal preference.
