The "Industrial" style in terms of furniture design, as the name implies, draws inspiration from contemporary urban living. Think the renovation of warehousing into lofts and apartments; the repurposing of the industrial for domestic use.

In industrial furniture, there is a sense of unfinished rawness, and it’s not uncommon to see unfinished steel elements, rustic recycled timbers and natural finishes.

Think old repurposed timber, raw metals, concrete elements combined into sparse, functional furniture. There may be the possibility of one or two pieces of abstract art or photography to add a dash of colour to an otherwise neutral colour scheme derived from these primary materials.

Here at Bespoke Furniture Gallery, we love Industrial style furniture, and apply this concept to many of our pieces such as raw steel or iron legs and footings, concrete table tops and recycled timbers that offer character.
